Nepal is a country well known for its Himalayas. Among the 10 highest peaks in the world, eight including the highest peak Mt. Everest, crown this country. Nothing on earth can beat the exhilaration of scaling them. No wonder Nepal is the favorite destination for mountaineers and every year more than 600 expeditions trudge up the Himalaya, including the trekking peaks.

An expedition to Ama Dablam is technically demanding and has has everything needed in the mountaineering expeditions. The expedition offers a superb, technical climbing experience in the heart of Khumbu region just above Thayanboche monastery on the way to Everest Base Camp. From the summit, out of six highest peaks in the world are clearly visible of five highest peaks Mt Lhotse, Mt. Lhotse Shar, Mt. Makalu, Mt. Cho – Oyu, and Mt. Everest, and also close view of Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Baruntse and Mt. Pumori. 

Our ascent will be made via the conventional SW ridge route, which involves pure rock climbing. The last section to the summit involves ice climbing followed by a long steep snow slope.
