This is one of the shortest, yet most classic treks in Nepal passing through country inhabited by a wide diversity of people. It offers spectacular mountain scenery and takes you north of Mt. Annapurna & Mt. Machhapuchare (Fishtail) ranges. This region is heavily settled and farmed. Sarankot, which is one of the parts of the route, is an ideal vantage point to view both a sunrise & sunset within the majestic Himalayan range. In the route, you will witness the panoramic views of mountains like Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, including the magnificent Mt. Machhapuchare (Fish Tail).
Sarankot village is settled on the North West of Pokhara with enchanting views of Pokhara Valley and the Phewa Lake and is one of the most popular treks in Nepal. It passes through beautiful countryside inhabited by highly diversified communities of people. This region is heavily settled by the mid hills tribe "Gurungs". Gurungs are the famous Gurkha soldiers in the British, Indian, and Nepalese Army. This trek offers excellent scenery encompassing the Himalayan Range to give an encompassing taste to the trekking in Nepal, in a short amount of time.

Day 01

Arrival in Kathmandu (1345meters.)

Guided Kathmandu Sightseeing by car.

Day 03

You will drive to Pokhara (Around 6 hour)

Day 04

Trek from Pokhara - Birethanti - Ghandrung (Duration: 2 hrs drive& 5 hrs trek)

Day 05

Trek from Ghandrung to Dhampus

Day 06

Trek back from Dhampus to Pokhara

Day 07

Fly/Drive back to Kathmandu

Itinerary in Detail

Day 01

Arrival in Kathmandu (1345meters.)
At airport you will be welcome by our representative and transfer to hotel. You will have a welcome diner and culture program and overnight in hotel.

Day 2 Guided Kathmandu Sightseeing by car.
In the morning after breakfast, we have a Pre-Trip meeting at your hotel in Kathmandu and introduced your trek Leader/Guide. it will provide an opportunity for individuals to ask questions about the your trek and to introduce you to other participants. This includes a final briefing and preparations for the trip. After the Pre-Trip meeting and breakfast your sightseeing trip will in the morning. We provide a private vehicle and professional tour guide. We visit Bodhnath Stupa, one of the biggest Buddhist shrines in the world. After Bodhnath Stupa we visit Pashupatinath, the most famous Hindu temple in the country. We also visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square as well as Kathmandu Durbar Square, which are collection of pagoda and shikhara. The attraction of the Bhaktapur Durbar Square is The Lion gate, The Golden gate, The Palace of fifty five windows, Art Galleries. At the end of the day we will visit Patan Durbar Suqare, which is famous for cluster of fine Pagoda temples and stone statues. The rest of our time in Kathmandu is free for further exploration and some last-minute shopping in Thamel area near by your hotel. Later, we are supplied with our Trek Pack and departure information for tomorrow. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03 You will drive to Pokhara (Around 6 hour)
Six hours scenic drive through Prithvi highway by tourist bus or car or 20 Minute Fly.
Day 04 Trek from Pokhara - Birethanti - Ghandrung (Duration: 2 hrs drive& 5 hrs trek)
After breakfast drive to Birethanti 45 kms and start the trek along the stream. It is a beautiful but steep walk passing by waterfalls and Magar villages to the Ghandrung. Stay overnight over there with the beautiful views of Ghandrung.
Day 05 Trek from Ghandrung to Dhampus
A gentle climb through pasture and cultivated fields. As the trail climbs higher, you walk up beside the cascading river through refreshingly cool oak and rhododendron forest to the Dhampus.
Day 06

Trek back from Dhampus to Pokhara
A short walk down hill to Phedi passing few tea shops and few local houses. From Phedi 30 mins drive to Pokhara.

Day 07 Fly/Drive back to Kathmandu
Drive back to Kathmandu by Car / Van / Tourist Bus (6hrs) or Fly (20minute)

    Ascent of Chulu West and Chulu Central are in a small valley north of Manang situated off the main trail to Thorong La pass 5416m.

  • Tilicho Peak Climbing.

    Tilicho peak offers a hard climb than the other mountains having height of the around 7000m. The way to this mountain climbing has two ways up to its base camp: One way goes via Marshyangdi valley route and another way goes via Kaligandaki valley route.

  • Tharpu Chuli Peak Climbing.

    Situated in the heart of the Annapurna Sanctuary, Tharpu Chuli is an attractive mountain; part of the eidge line, thrown south from Glacier Dome that includes Singu Chuli and acts as a central divider between the semi-circles of peaks enclosing the Sanctuary.

  • Singu Chuli Peak Climbing .

    Singu Chuli is the mountain formerly known as Fluted peak. A few days after, enjoying that view, Wilf Noyce and David Cox went on to make the first ascent of this attractive and difficult mountain by its North-East Face.

  • Ramdung Peak Climbing.

    Situated in the upper Rolwaling, Ramdung Peak also called Ramdang-Go, is one of a cluster or peaks around the Yalung La (5310m/17421ft), a pass giving access to the upper Rolwaling from the south.
